Sunday, May 27 - Week #17

A good week - 3 (almost) days in Phoenix as The Old Codger - performance went pretty well on Tuesday nite - but audience only moderately responsive. It was great to be able to perform - and to have a paying job $ - be it ever so brief.

Feeling quite normal after 2 off weeks - bracing for the final flurry of #6, #7, #8.

Some highlights:

  • Coffee tastes good again - though I'm not over doing it

  • B-fast at Al's again (t-shirt for Steve)

  • Free lunch (by mistake) 1st day in Phoenix - the only thing that was free

  • Chat with Alyce Mulligan

  • M2 meets me at the airport - God Bless her

  • Ascension Thursday mass at our Lady of Lourdes - 1st time in this historic place

  • Mowed all of lawn - cleaned patio - stained table, etc.

  • $$ AFTRA comes thru w. $ Flynn & Rx

  • So does Un-Emp

  • Call from Ron B. - Despite Knee surgery, will try to be at picnic

  • Blueberries, Braeburns in at Byerlys

  • Hat for Teri

  • Support, encouragement from Msgr Fleming at the 4 o'clock

  • Walked Calhoun

  • Some bones and muscles ache from all teh clean up, gardening, yard work.
